NEWS FLASH !!! OLIVER THE ADOPATVET MASCOT INVOLVED IN A CAR CRASH!!

Yes the beautiful black cat featured on adopatvet was hit by a car on 6th of August ...
but he had a lucky escape .... our neighbour was walking past and must have found him seconds after it happened and let us know. He was in a very bad way, with bleeding from his mouth and started going into shock. However we rushed him to see Shona the vet... ( am not yet qualified enough to deal with such emergencies) and she stablised him by putting him on a drip. AMAZINGLY enough after through x rays it was found that he hadn't broken a single bone!!!!
But had injured his brachial plexus, the bundle of nerves in the 'armpit' that runs down the leg. Rather like a junction box.
The poor boy has been having to rest in a puppy crate ever since but is walking very well now and is making a good recovery!

PET PROBLEMS??

Do you have a pet problem?
Maybe I can help??
Just add your question to this post and I'll see what I can do....

why I chose to go to Liverpool Vet school

Well that is a hard one.... I always knew that Liverpool was a good vet school and one of the oldest so very well established ... but doing this as a second degree Liverpool is one of the expensive places so knew that if I got into one of the others it would make financial sense to go to a cheaper vet school however Liverpool was the only one that offered me a place so I had no choice, however it is bloomin good. !!
